At Habitació 910 we talked with Alvie about what the Walpurgis Queer Horror Film Festival is and why there’s a need to put the spotlight on queer horror within genre festivals. We discussed the connexion between dissidence and monsters, and we shares our favorite queer monsters. We also went over the programme for our first edition: feature films, short films in competition, queer role-playing games, workshops, exhibitions, and a tribute to Pierrot, a key figure in horror cinema during Franco’s dictatorship in Spain.
