Pódcast crossover:

oye, Baby & Jane, ¡Estamos Vivas! – 30/05/2026 (ES)

Gigamesh Bookshop was kind enough to host and record the podcast crossover you never knew you needed: Baby & Jane vs. ¡Estamos Vivas!. In the former, two friends (Noemí Navarra and Marina Velveth) have enthusiastic, laid-back chats about films directed (or written) by women. In the latter, the Javis of Horror™ (Xavi Sánchez Pons and Javier Parra) proudly claim the title of the one true underground podcast about genre cinema.

Pánico en la sala #411- 30/05/2026 (ES)

Santi Serrano, Carlos Ortega, Marcos Ordóñez and Mario Herrera, the team behind Pánico en la sala, welcomed us with open arms and let us tell their audience what our little fest is all about. We chatted about queer horror, exploitation cinema and everything we had in store for our second edition. Blood, glitter and celluloid, as they themselves put it.

idíl·liQ Podcast:

Gender perspective, WTF? – 21/04/2026 (CA)

díl·liQ, we meet again. This time, for the second edition of our fellow festival, L’Horror Film Festival. The festival’s organizers put together a panel on the current state of gender perspectives in horror cinema. Once again moderated by Karen Madrid, Mara joined the discussion alongside Louise Brix Andersen (screenwriter and director), Alba Villarmea (Mostra Internacional de Films de Dones de Barcelona) and Silvia García Palacios (director of the host festival). You can listen to them going all in for almost an hour.

idíl·liQ Podcast – 18/12/2025 (CA)

During the Acocollona’t festival in Girona, we took part in the recording of an episode of idíl·liQ, an itinerant podcast about fantastic cinema directed by cultural journalist Karen Madrid. From minute 53:30 onwards, two of the Walpurgis (Noe and Mara), together with Sílvia Garcia from l’Horror and Ester Córdoba from Bai de Fest, talk about the role of women in genre festivals and the need to keep opening up inclusive spaces.

Badalona Matí – 21/02/2025 (CA)

In Badalona Matí’s section dedicated to horror cinema, our collaborator Sabina Pujol talks about the birth of our festival as a space for exhibition and reflection around the genre from an inclusive and feminist perspective, and invites listeners to discover what’s still to come.
